House. Early C16, altered in C19. Timber framed, roughcast rendered, with
facade of gault brick in Flemish bond, roofed with interlocking concrete tiles
and handmade red clay tiles. Main range facing S, with C18 internal stack at
right end. Early C16 rear wing at right end, with C20 external stack to right.
C18 extension to left of main range, with one internal stack, and C20 2-storey
lean-to extension in front left angle, roofed with corrugated asbestos. 2
storeys. On each floor, 2 late C19 tripartite sashes of 2-2-2 lights and 2 late
C19 sashes of 2 lights, symmetrically arranged. Central 6-panel door in gabled
porch with Tuscan columns. Plain parapet, hipped gablet roof. Jowled posts,
close studding, chamfered beams with step stops, both roofs with cross-quadrate
crownposts, 4-way and axial bracing.
