Post Office and attached house. C19 forward lean-to shop C18/C19 right facade. C17/C18 or earlier origin. Painted brick facade to right return and shop, left return weatherboarded. Timber framed interior. Grey slate roofs to shop and right return, red tiled outshot to left return. 2 gault brick chimney stacks. Parapet verges to shop roof. The shop front with left and right small paned oriels on brackets, central stable type door. 2 blocked windows to right return. The 2 storey right return has a 3 window range of small paned vertically sliding sashes, gauged brick arches with keystones. Central doorway, matching arch over, C20 door. Left return, ground floor range of three 2 light windows and 2 vertically boarded doors.
