House. C16 of earlier origin, with later additions and alterations including C20 2 bay and rear extension to right. Timber framed and plastered with some C20 pargetting. 2 red brick chimney stacks, that to left of cruciform plan. 2 gable apex of rear wings visible from front of house, that to left C16 of earlier origin with Sun Insurance Plaque. 2 storeys. 7 window range of small paned vertically sliding sashes, moulded surrounds, some tripartite. 6 panelled door to left, modern fluted pilasters and pediment. Internal features include some halved bracing to walls, halved and bridled top plate scarf, restored back to back inglenook fireplace, twisted baluster staircase from elsewhere and some brick floors. RCHM 3.
