TL 40 NW ROYDON EPPING ROAD 3/7 Merryweathers Farmhouse
II
House. Late C16, with C19 and C20 alterations. Part timber framed and plastered, part rendered brick. Red plain tiled roof. 2 storeys. Double range plan. The original build to the rear. 3 window range, C20 casements. Central C20 door. Lean-to extension at north end. Internally some of the original frame is exposed, including late C16 windows with ovolo mullions. Inglenook fireplace with timber mantel beam and salt niches. C16 and later red brick chimney stacks.
