TL 51 SW MATCHING MATCHING GREEN Albion House 3/77 GV II
Lobby entrance house, early C17, extended in C20. Timber framed, plastered, roofed with handmade red clay tiles. 4 bays aligned approx. NW-SE with axial chimney stack in third bay from NW, forming a lobby-entrance, now blocked. Original rear wing at NW end, forming an L-plan, with chimney stack at the junction. 2 storey extension in E angle, C20, and single storey extension at NW end, C20. 2 storeys. 4 window range of double-hung sash windows of 4 lights, C19/20, door in NW extension. Roof hipped. Some framing exposed internally. Arch braced inside studding, not trenched. Primary straight bracing in partition wall. Chamfered beams with lamb's tongue stops above ground floor and first floor. Original newel stair from first floor to attics, except 2 lowest steps. Roof structure not visible.
