PARADISE STREET 1. 1485 (South Side) The Jolly Farmers Inn Public House SP 5006 SE 7/438 SP 5l06 SW 8/438 12.1.54. II 2. Corner site on Paradise Square. C17 in origin but restored. 2-storeyed roughcast rubble and gabled timber-framing. Overhang at 1st floor on North. Modern tile roof. Casement windows. Bar front to ground floor. In North front the cut-back cills of former oriel windows remain; in the gable is the moulded wood head of a former window. (Photograph: Plate 10 of RCHM).
