2. Built circa 1600. Timber-framed and plastered house with a cross wing at the north and south ends. The house stands at right angles to the road. Two storeys. The upper storeys of the cross wings are jettied on the west front. The south gable has original bargeboards and the remains of ornamental pargetting (band of arabesques) and on the ground storey there is a window with a roughly moulded sill. Casement windows. A modern gabled porch projects on the front. Roof tiled, with a central chimney stack. (RCHM 6).
