Cottage. C14 or earlier and late C16. Timber framed and plastered with thatched roofs. Of 'L' shaped plan form with 2 storey wing-like block at north west and main block of one storey with attics. Wing has half-hipped roof and main block is hipped at the south east end. Front has C20 gabled and peg tiled porch and C20 leaded light windows. One gabled thatched dormer and rectangular ridgeline stack. Wing is an evidently early structure much weathered and blackened with wide stud spacing. This was raised in the late C16 or C17. The main block is late C16 former open hall with jowled posts and straightish internal wall braces.
