TL 62 NE STEBBING DUCK END 2/354 Poplar Farm: Farm buildings 30m E. of Farmhouse:- 2 barns, calf barn, ducks house & G.V. chaff house. II Intact farm buildings C19. Red brick built with an ornate moulded brick louvre band throughout, segmental arches to doors and moulded brick plaque (W.M. TABRUM). W.M.T. 1871 to Large Barn. High quality King Post roof construction throughout, with grey slate cladding. To the rear is a large hipped roof barn, with winnowing doors to E and W. To the right of this barn is a Calf Barn and gabled end Ducks House. To the left the Chaff House. The four incorporated forward ranges have hip ended roofs to the West and are of 8 bays each. The first range was a stable with stallion pen at rear, harness hooks remain on the walls. The adjoining yard is now roofed cattle yard with weatherboarded gable and tall board double doors. Second range contained the Granary, third and fourth are cattle stalls and yard. The winnowing door to the large barn opens into the second yard. Second and fourth ranges have plain board doors, first range has tall double doors, and the third range has single storey double doors. Many original features remain including some brick floors.
