5/147 Graunt Courts 7.2.52 - II
House. Late C16 with early C17 additions. 2 storeys and some attics. Plain red tile roof. Timber framed and plastered with C20 pargetting. A House of complex plan, with gables to all wings, reconditioned and restored with some internal exposed timber framing. Main Range with a central crosswing 2:1:2 window range and 6 panel door with moulded frieze and flat canopy adjoining the crosswing to right. A wing projects forward to right of the main range with a forward crosswing attached, having a 1:1 window range. The forward crosswing with an attic window also. All windows small paned sliding sashes, some with sidelights. 4 red brick chimney stacks. All gables with decorative barge boards. Some late C16, or early C17 wall painting internally. RCHM lO
