Cross with figure within kerbstone surround. c1926. Stone.
Inscribed base supporting a sculptured female figure in
flowing robes, her veiled head supported on her right arm
which rests within a round-arched niche, set within the arms
of the wide cross-shaped background, and containing to the
right, a flaming enriched urn; smoke depicted billowing across
the top of the cross. Right hand side of figure body up to
arms, with finely carved robes, in low relief against
background. Plain rectangular kerbstone with dies at angles
made to hold flowers.
