The Oaks
GV II
House with Nos 81 & 83 forming later rear extensions, now
divided into flats. Late C18 with additions by George
Hornblower, 1902 for EP Musman. 3 storeys. 2 windows with 3
window return to garden. Brown brick with pilaster strips to
angles. Hipped slated roof with projecting eaves and octagonal
belvedere having conical bracketed roof with ball finial.
Former entrance on road frontage converted for use as a
window. Gauged red brick flat arches to recessed sashes, those
on return with cast-iron balconies. Return with ground floor
bay window and stone arched entrance adjoining.
