Terrace of 3 houses forming the south return of the Park
Square East block (qv). c1823-5. By John Nash. Stucco with
rusticated ground floor. Symmetrical terrace of 8 windows with
slightly projecting end bays and 3-indow return (some blank)
to Peto Place, 1-window return to Park Square East.
4 storeys and basements. Square-headed doorways with
vertically patterned fanlights and panelled doors, No.3 being
recessed in a single storey portico extension. Square-headed,
recessed sash windows; 1st and 2nd floor with architraves; 1st
floor with cornices and end bays with console-bracketed
pediments. Continuous cast-iron balcony at 1st floor level,
the Peto Street return with cast-iron trellis and tented
canopy. End bays flanked by Ionic pilasters through the 1st
and 2nd floors supporting entablature with continuous main
cornice at 3rd floor level. Cornice and blocking course above
attic storey.
INTERIORS: not inspected.
SUBSIDIARY FEATURES: attached cast-iron railings with
pineapple finials to areas.
