GV II Congregational chapel at rear of No. 119 Peppard Road founded in 1827 from St Mary's Castle Street
MATERIALS: Painted Bath stone ashlar and stucco, north side brick with flint hoods to windows.
EXTERIOR: Plain Gothic style. Crenellated west tower of three low stages has paired four centred lancets with drip moulds to north and south; four-centred arch-headed doorway.
INTERIOR:Five-bay nave with triangular-headed lancets having drips and moulded strings. Dividing wall buttresses.
REASONS FOR DESIGNATION: Grace Church is listed for the following principal reason: * Architectural interest: a good example of an early-C19 Congregational chapel.
