Details
WILTON ROAD 1. 5128 Elm Lodge SU 67 SE 16/365 21.1.76. II 2. Early C19. 2 storeys painted ashlar detached house with carriage sweep. 1st floor cill bands, moulded eaves cornice. Hipped slate roof with several prominent corniced chimneys. 3 bays of glazing bar sash windows, the outer ones in full height bows. Central fluted Greek Doric porch, triglyphs and cornice missing. Double doors with edge glazing. To west, a shallow bow interrupted by later extension which has 2 storey canted stucco bay with C19 sashes to front; cornice and blocking course. Lower 2 storey 3 window extension to left. Interior said to retain a good contemporary staircase.
