CRANFIELD HIGH STREET SP 9442 3/12 No. 139 (Belmont House) - II
House. Late C18. Slightly mottled red brick, with brighter red dressings. Steep hipped clay tile roof. 2 storeyed double-pile plan in symmetrical arrangement. 3-window facade to front, all sashes with glazing bars in reveals and under gauged brick flat arches. Central doorway. Door of 5 fielded panels, surmounted by rectangular fanlight, within panelled reveals. This is framed by Ionic pilasters supporting a simple entablature. RH ground floor apparently reworked with deeper red brickwork. 2 red brick multiple ridge stacks.
