LIDLINGTON LOMBARD STREET SP 93 NE SP 9839 6/45 No. 3 (The Poplars) - II
House. C17 and C18. Timber framed construction, partly with colourwashed plaster infill, parts encased and replaced by colourwashed brick. Clay tile roofs. One storey and attics L-plan block, formed by 2-room C17 block with C18 half-hipped block projecting NE. Single-storeyed C19 colourwashed brick addition projects SE. Variety of casement windows, mostly of 2 or 3 lights, some with glazing bars, some with leaded lights. C20 box dormer to C18 block. C20 canted bay to SW side of C17 block. C17 block has part-glazed front door in line with red brick ridge stack. Stack formerly served back-to-back hearth, one side now blocked.
