2. Late C17 L plan red brick 2-storey house in English bond, with purple dressings for quoins, windows and stringcourse between floors. Deep wooden cornice eaves below steep tiled roof. 4 windows (sashed). Two C18 shallow bows with friezes, dentil cornices, added on ground floor in redder brick (Flemish bond) with 3-light windows: corresponding 2 windows on first floor are also of 3 lights; and fourth window is bricked up (Flemish bond). Below this fourth window is a carriageway enclosed by doors which retain bold C17 fielded panelling. C18 4 fielded 2 flush panelled door with delicate fanlight and rubbed red brick arch added.

Nos 1 to 39 (odd) and Court House form a group with No 127 Dunstable Street.
