SHORTMEAD STREET 1. 5124 (East Side) Nos 38 and 40 TL 1844 1/56 II llT 2. C17 timber-framed building altered C19. Colourwashed roughcast, 2 storey. Concrete tile roof. Three sash windows with glazing bars. Ground floor, small C19 bay to left, modern shop front to right. Central carriage arch with exposed timber-framing. No 40 has flat bracketed doorhood. Included for group value.
