From C17 and earlier. Rubble Slate roof. 2 storeys, Roughly L-shaped
plan. Long wing of 4 windows, restored sashes with glazing bars, porch with
sloping slate roof. South wing has been much restored and altered with large
plate glass window, Interior: good C17 staircase with turned balusters and
square newels, turned pendants and moulded string. Adam style fireplace.
2 good Cl7 panelled doors, Samuel Foot's (actor-manager born 1720) grandfather
lived here.
