A pair of buildings dating from two different periods, No 27 is of early C18 date and No 26 is mid-C19.
MATERIALS: constructed using limestone and sandstone with a shared pantile roof.
EXTERIOR: the pair are of two storeys. No 27 is three windows wide, with a pair of two-light, square mullion, edge-roll windows at ground floor and C19 two-light casements at the first floor, which retain their moulded outer reveals. There is a central doorway with chamfered reveal and cornice.
No 26 is built of plain limestone rubble. It has two plain sash windows to the first floor. The ground floor has a projecting flat-roofed extension with a C20 shopfront.
The building has three chimneys, one at each gable end and one to the left side of No 27.
