10/20 The Lodge
- II
Gothick lodge, formerly to Combe Hay Manor (q.v.). Late C18, altered and extended 1979. Painted rubble; hipped thatched roof, which sweeps down over the eaves to form a verandah on the south side, supported on rustic posts and bracing. L-plan, the wing to the east is C20. Single storey and attics in dormers. Single casement windows in pointed surrounds to each elevation; three windows in canted end of south wing. Glazed door in east wing, also in a pointed surround.
