WEST FARLEIGH TUTSHAM FARM TQ 75 SW 2/38 Nos.1-7 (inclusive) Mill Cottages II

House row. Early C19. Timber framed, weatherboarded, with slate roof. Double depth. 2 storeys and attics. Rendered brick plinth. Half- hipped gambrel roof. Four red and grey brick ridge stacks, two towards centre (that to right of centre smaller) and one towards each end. Three projecting brick stacks to rear. Seven flat-roofed dormers with paned two-light casements. Irregular fenestration of 7 windows (five two-light paned casements and two horizontally-sliding sashes) flanking stacks, with only one to right-central stack. Seven two-light paned casements to ground floor below, each with plain frieze and moulded cornice. Seven doors with flat bracketed hoods, one half-glazed to left end to No. 1; one with flush panels to No. 2 and one half-glazed and panelled to No. 3 adjacent to each other to centre of gap between left and left-central stacks; one half-glazed and panelled to No. 4 between two "central" stacks; door with flush panels to No. 5 and another to No. 6 adjacent to each other between right-central and right stacks, and half-glazed and boarded door to No. 7 to right end. Interior not inspected.
