Details
GOUDHURST BLIND LANE TQ 73 NW (west side) 5/99 Nos 1 and 2 Hammonds Farmhouse GV II House, now house pair. C16. Timber framed and exposed large panel frame with plaster infill with weather-boarding and tile hanging to return elevations, sand- stone and red brick base and plain tiled roof. Three framed bay and entrance bay lobby entry plan. Two storeys and garret with half-hipped roof, the hip ends overhanging (as if hoist lucarns). Stacks to centre right, and projecting and offset at front left. Blocked framed window openings to left and right on first floor and to centre on ground floor. Three-light casement to centre on each floor, with plank and stud door to centre right, and boarded door in left return at head of flight of steps. Irregular wooden casements to return elevations. Catslide outshot to rear.
