Barn attached to and in range with east gable of Castlethorpe Lodge
GV II
Barn. C18 with C19 additions each side. Rubble stone. Tile roof which is continuous with that of the house. 5 bays with 2 wagon porches facing north. Infilled between porches by C19 2-storey brick stable with hayloft over and slate roof. To south lean-to addition. Triple purlin roof with raking Queen struts to lower purlin and collars to upper two. Chamfered tie-beams with curved chamfered braces and wall-posts on corbels.
