1. 5118 EX-MANGOTSFIELD UD FOURACRE CRESCENT Downend Baugh Farmhouse ST 67 NE 2/250 II 2. 'L' plan. Late C17/early C18 gabled rubble stone building. Rendered with pantile roof and large 2 storey Victorian extension to west and projecting kitchen wing to east. Two and a half storeys. Two gables to north front (Victorian fenestration). Double-saddle roofed Victorian wing, 4 windows to west, 3 plus glazed porch to east. Interior: retains a number of original features including ridged stops to beam chamfers and a large fireplace in kitchen with C19 breadoven. In the attic is one original oak door frame with stop chamfer and in one room an inscription in the plaster '1713 RB.'Two vaulted stone cellar chambers, the inner one, with access to the kitchen, can be barred off. Staircase altered.
