Details

WOLFHAMPCOTE FLECKNOE SP56SW 10/124 Manor Farmhouse 06/10/60 (Formerly listed as Manor Farm House GV II Farmhouse. Early/mid C18, probably with earlier origins, with early/mid C19 alterations. Flemish bond brick with limestone string course and rusticated alternating quoins; return sides have brick dentil cornice. Wing set back on right has ground floor of ironstone rubble with C19 brick above. Double-span roof at right angles to front has outer sides of old tiles, and inner of concrete tiles; stone coped gable parapets with parapet between and moulded kneeler on left; brick end stacks to front, and ridge stack to left return side. Double-depth plan. 2 storeys and attic; 5-window range. Symmetrical front. Half-glazed door with glazing bars and panelled reveals. C19 moulded rendered pilasters and plain entablature. 16-pane sashes have rusticated rendered flat arches. Right attic window blocked. 2-storey, one-window wing has fielded 6-panelled door with wood lintel. C19 casements with horizontal glazing bar. 2-bay left return side. To rear: stone plinth. Old 6-panelled door. 3- and 2-light casements. Interior not inspected.
