Farmhouse. C17 with C19 and C20 alterations. Pebbledash over timber-framing and
C19 brick. Old plain-tile roof; main range has large central stack of old brick:
cross-wIng has C19 brick stack in left corner. T-plan with higher cross-wing on
left. 2 storeys; 4-window range. Main range has C20 half-glazed doors to left
and centre, and board door to right. First bay and cross-wing have C20
three-light casements, with half-dormer to main range. Main range has C20
two-light casement to ground flour. First floor has 2-light casements with
horizontal glazing bar and cross glazing respectively. Right return side is of
brick. Interior has back-to-back; open fireplaces. First floor has some exposed
framing and massive trusses and wind braces.
