1099 RED LION LANE (South East Side) Nos 7 to 11 (odd) SU 8346 8/249 II GV . 2. . No 7: C1.8. 2 storeys. 1 bay. Tile gabled roof; external stack at left hand end. Painted brick front; brick eaves modern cornice. Small 2~light casement window above with segmental relieving arch over. Modern 3-light metal-framed casement window on ground floor. Wooden boarded door in frame to right of this; iron hinges. At right hand end, projection with weather- boarded gable end to an earlier timber-framed building; gable end facing north east; small 2-light casement above and another small one below. This ear1ier building presents an L-shape to the street; painted brick cladding. Another gable end to the north -west in No.9. In angle between south-east and north west gable ends, one 2-light; casement windows on ground floor in north-nest facing wall. In North-West gable door at north end of north-east facing wall. In north-west gable end, 2-light casement 'Windows the right hand, both above and below, lower one with segmentel head. Wooden ledged door in frame with sloping tile hood over. Lean-to annex to right hand, also probably timber-framed.
No.1 to 43 (odd) form a group.
