Circa 1800. Two storey cottage with very heavy added castellation of the
mid-C19. Coursed lias rubble. Overlap cornice, crenellation. Front articulated
by 3 massive square plan buttresses with holes 'punched' through for windows
(2-light casements) framed on outside by cill and lintel bands and raised
surround. One bay plain extension to plain coped parapet to right. One
bay crenellated extension to left, masking lean-to with modern entrance.
Hipped slate roof, rear pantile with 2 dormers. Central entrance to rear
with flanking windows and an arched 1st floor window over.
