Tombstone. 1835-6 for Joseph Dent. Ashlar on brick base. Chest tomb of Jonathan Dent, d.1834, with weathered inscription on south side, moulded cornice with square flower moulding and coped top. Joseph Dent had the cottage (q.v.) embellished and the tomb erected in memory of his father, Jonathan Dent, a Quaker and notable Winterton eccentric. W. Andrew, History of Winterton, 1836, 19-22.
