ST4827 STOKE SUB HAMDON CP WINDSOR LANE (south side) 7/347 North and east boundary walls and railings to East Stoke Cottage GV II Boundary walls and railings. C18 and C19. Ham stone coursed rubble with ashlar piers; walls have 'battlemented' tops with long and short vertical stones, the square piers having pyramidal caps, and curved sweeps to sides; opposite the door to house a gateway with single-stone gateposts, and on north-east corner a further pier with ball finial on simple base. East boundary marked by plain railings with necked pointed tops set on ashlar stone basewall, in all about 1.5 metres high, with another pier with ball finial at south end; the whole important to the setting of East Stoke Cottage (qv) and to the streetscene generally.
