Farmbuilding and cartshed. c1845. Dressed sandstone with ashlar dressings, stone slate roofs, coped pedimented gables and a single stone stack. Plinth, first floor band and moulded eave band. 2 storey. East front, 7 windows arranged 3:2:2 with slightly projecting central section topped by pediment. Central section has central doorway with overlight flanked by single 12-pane casements, to left central 12-pane casement flanked by single doors with overlights, to right large segment arched carriage opening with double plank doors. Above seven 12-pane casements. North front, 5 windows arranged 2:3 left section projects slightly topped by pediment. Left section has two 16-pane casements, with to right similar window and 2 blind openings. Above 2 large glazing bar casements with to right 2 smaller blind openings and similar glazing bar casement. Beyond to right attached single storey open cartshed with 7 cast iron columns. To rear brick cartshed with 2 cast iron columns, and workshops with external staircase and 3 workshop windows to first floor south front. These buildings form part of the estate yard to Nostell Priory laid out for Charles W Winn (1795-1874).
