GV II
Farmhouse, now house. Mid C18 with early C20 windows to front. Red brick with front in Flemish bond; pantile roof. L-shaped on plan; central entrance hall front with rear kitchen wing and outshut in angle. Front at right angles to street. 2 storeys with attic, 3 bays; symmetrical. C20 part-glazed door with 4-pane overlight under segmental brick arch flanked by 3-light casements under segmental brick arches with moulded C19-20 brick cills. Similar windows and central blind panel to first floor. Central oval attic window above with cross glazing bars and brick surround. Stepped and dentilled eaves cornice. Hipped roof. End stacks: rendered original to right and late C19/20 rebuild to left. Left return, facing street, has moulded plinth to right section, two C20 ground floor casements, a first floor C19 4-pane sliding sash under a segmental arch, a 12-pane sliding attic sash, and a brick-coped gable to the outshut. Rear wing has stone- coped gable. Interior: dog-leg stairs to rear with Chinese Chippendale balustrade; panelled window shutters.
