Details
REMENHAM ASTON SU 78 SE 1/2 Aston Farmhouse II Farmhouse. C16 hall house with C17 additions, altered early C19 and C20. Timber frame part rendered, part painted brick, old tile gable roof with dormers and flanking chimneys. L-plan, 2 framed bays with arch braces to old hall. One and a half storeys. North front: 2 bays sash windows with glazing bars in dormers with flat lead roofs, three 2-light casements in ground floor, 2 with glazing bars. Interior: has some parts of the timber frame visible.
