The description shall be amended to read:-
SU 97 NW BRAY BISHOP FARM CLOSE (north west side) Oakley Green loll Bishop's Farm House (formerly listed as 11.4.72 Bishop's Farmhouse)
Hall house, now 9 flats. Early C15, altered C17, altered and extended C19 and C20. Part timber frame encased in render with many false timbers over render- ing; part brick; old tile cabled roof. Probably formerly rectangular plan of 3 framed bays with cross passage running south east to north west; service end on south west. One bay of former hall demolished to form later L-plan of 2 x 2 framed bays. Further 2-bay extension on north west at end of cross passage; now irregular with large extension on north east. 2 storeys. Several chimneys with clay pots; one a C17 full-height stack with rendered offsets. C19 and C20 neo- Tudor leaden casements and mullion and transom windows; some without leading. South-east (entrances) front: irregular. 2 storey gabled entrance porch with 4-panelled door. Single-light window each side of door, 4-light oriel window above. The porch is across the internal angle of this front. The section to the left of the porch has 2 large projecting chimneys with diamond shafts and offset heads. Between the chimneys a full height gabled window; a gabled 3-light window on first floor and a 2 and 3-light window on ground floor. Between the right hand chimney and the porch, 2 small windows on first floor and a 3-light window on the ground floor. The section to the right of the porch has a centre gable with 4-light window on first floor, a door with ornate glazed panels below, with single-light window on either side. To the left a gabled 3-light window on first floor and a 4-light window below. South west front: 3 one-bay gables with single-storey part on left. 3-light windows on first floor. French casements on ground floor. Interior: some timber frame exposed. Partly queen post roof trusses and part redundant crown post trusses with large cambered tie beams. Post to centre truss in western part has a roll moulding which is carried up on to curved brace.
