5/9 Barn at Chalkpit Farm, about 50 metres north of Bath Road 24.2.82 G.V. II

Barn, now domestic storage. Early C18. Brick, part chalk clunch internally, old tile half- hipped roof. Rectangular plan of 4 bays, gabled midstrey on west side, partly weather- boarded. Ventilation slots in walls, some blocked. Interior: queen post roof with 2 sets of butt purlins and large principal rafters. Windbraces in the bay containing the midstrey.
