Dean Place Farmhouse
G.V. II Hall house and byre, now cottage. Early C15 altered late C18 and C20. Timber framed, mostly encased in brick, part rendered, part weatherboarded, old tile gabled roof. Rectangular plan of 4 framed bays, including byre, small C18 gabled extension at rear. 2 storeys. Small chimney on ridge to left of centre. South front: 3 bays, one bay timber frame exposed on right, left hand section symmetrical with dentil eaves course. Two, 3-light C19 casements on first floor, similar on ground floor, one on either side of C20 glazed entrance door. North front: irregular C20 casements and garden door on left; projecting gable on right, with square projection; window on brackets on first floor. Some timber frame exposed at left end. Interior; Inglenook chimney and some timber frame expose .
