5130 (East Side) Queen Anne's Gate Lodge SU 97 NE 10/169 II GV 2. Lodge to Windsor Great Park. 2 storey painted stone lodge, circa 1830-36 viz "W R IV" inscribed on shield. Band between storeys and gables with cusped pierced bargeboards; fretted eaves boards and roof of scalloped slates, with finials. 3 bay road front, broader gable over centre break with porch. 1st floor casements and canted, casement, bay windows ground floor with pent scalloped slate roofs. 4 centred chamfered arch porch, the window above a small pent roof, rectangular casement bay. 2 window similar south and north fronts with gables over. Picturesque. Nos 1 to 6 (consec) Crown Cottages and Queen's Anne's Gate Lodge form a group with Queen Anne1 S Gate Lod+ form a s+rouD with Nos 7 to 12 (consec) Crown Cottages on the West side of King's Road. q.v.
