WARGRAVE BATH ROAD SU 87 NW (north side) Hare Hatch 3/13 Hare Hatch Grange (formerly listed as The Grange) 26.1.67 II Large country house. Late C18 altered C20. Brick, moulded and dentil brick cornice, parapet with stone coping to low hipped slate roof, flanking chimneys with offset dentil heads. L-shape plan with former service wing and stables projecting on north west. Main house 3 storeys, service wing 2 storeys. South-east front: 6 bays sash windows with glazing bars, 6- panelled door approached by 4 stone steps with plain iron balusters and handrail in third bay from right, arched radiating fanlight in Ionic doorcase of engaged columns, broken entablature, open pediment; C20 extension of 2 storeys to right fronting old service wing and single storey C20 extension to left with glass balustraded terrace over.
