House, possibly incorporating a C16 core but mainly late C18 with mid C19 additions. Part ashlar and part rendered with slate roof. Rendered octagonal stacks in various locations. Main range, three storeys with attics, three bay with C19 extension left. Originally symmetrical. Twelve-pane sashes with six-pane sashes to upper floor. Central porch with arch of two chamfered orders. C19 extension has two storey canted bays in a Tudor style.

Internal features (RCHM): C18 staircase with details similar to that of Chettle House (qv) with C16 wooden figures reset as finials; Reset C16 and C17 panelling including overmantel with strapwork decoration and caryatid pilasters.
