NETHER COMPTON ST 5816-5916 COMPTON PARK 14/54 The Round House (formerly listed as Round Lodge). 31.7.61 GV II Park Lodge. Early C19. Dressed round stone walls. Conical thatch roof with stone finial. Pentice thatch roof over the ground floor windows, supported on mullions with cross-transoms, left and right of central found floor window. Wood casements with lead lights and windows with fixed lead lights. Entrance to house in south C20 extension, not of special interest. (RCHM, Dorset I, p 101 (4)).
