II

Detached house. C18 enlarged in mid-C20. Original section has brick walls,
thatched roof, brick end stacks. One storey and attic. C20 wing at left end,
projects forward forming L-shaped plan. This in matching construction.
Thatched porch with part glazed door in angle. In original section, former
central porch with catslide roof - door replaced by casement with lead
lights. Ground floor has 2 casements with glazing bars. Attic has 2 dormers
with similar casements. C20 wing has one casement with glazing bars on each
floor. C20 wing at rear, with tiled roof. Internally, 2 large open
fireplaces with timber lintels. Some chamfered ceiling beams. (R.C.H.M.
