Pair of cottages. Probably C18. Stone walls with brick dressings to doors and
windows, thatched roofs, brick stacks with ornamental caps. One storey and attics.
No. 30 has recent extension at rear with entrance - original entrance in front wall
now replaced by a window. Ground floor has two horizontally sliding sash windows
with glazing bars. Attic has two half-dormers with similar sashes. Single-storey
thatched extension on east. Main ground floor room has large open fireplace with
bread oven. No. 31 has single-storey thatched outbuilding on west - now used as
garage. Ledged entrance door. Ground floor has three horizontally sliding sash
windows with glazing bars. Attic has three half-dormers with similar windows.
