Details
CORFE CASTLE SOUTH STREET, KINGSTON SY 95 79 (East side) 6/117 Nos. 9, 10 and 11 (formerly 20.11.59 listed as No. ll) GV II Terrace of 3 cottages. Probably early C19. Rubble stone walls, stone slate roofs. No. 9 at left end, has brick stack at left end. 2 storeys. Ledged door with small glass panel. Ground floor has 2 casements with centre horizontal glazing bar - all under stone lintols. First floor has 2 similar casements. Blocked ground floor window at right end. No. 10, in centre, has brick stack at left end, shared with No. 9 and one at right end, shared with No. 11. One storey and attic. Part-glazed panelled door. Ground floor has 2 casements with horizontal glazing bar, all under stone lintols. Attic has 2 gabled part-dormers with similar casements. Blocked doorway at right end. No. 11 at right end, has one stone stack shared with No. 10 and one at right end. One storey and attic. Part-glazed panelled door. Ground floor has 2 casements, one with glazing bars, one with horizontal glazing bars. Attic has 2 gabled dormers with casements with glazing bars, - all under stone lintols. Lean-to extension at right end, in matching construction.
