BOWES THE STREET NY 9913 (South side) 33/32 No. 8 Castle Terrace and house adjoining to right II Pair of houses. Early C19. Squared rubble. Stone-flagged roof and stone chimney stacks.

2 storeys, 3 wide bays; flush quoins. Pair of replaced doors in centre bay, in flush tooled surrounds. Small stone canted bay windows in end bays with 8 + 16 + 8-pane sashes and sloping stone-slab roofs. Blank central first-floor bay flanked by 16-pane sashes with flush lintels and projecting sills. Low-pitched roof with coped gables and shaped kneelers. End stacks with top bands and water tables.
