House, dated 1761 on lozenge-shaped slab above door, for C.L. Whitell Esq.
Squared stone with cut dressings, outbuilding coursed rubble. Graduated
stone slate roofs. House 2 storeys, 3 bays, symmetrical. Central renewed door
and 4-pane sash windows (some late C19, some lost intermediate glazing bars)
in raised stone surrounds. Coped gables on moulded kneelers; stepped-and-
corniced right end stack, rebuilt left end stack. Left return shows blocked
ground-floor window. Lower outbuilding set back to right has stone external
stair to boarded door on right return.

Rear elevation: pent porch with boarded door in stone surround on right
return and 6-pane fixed window on left return. To left a 16-pane Yorkshire
sash, elsewhere 4-pane sashes, all in irregular stone surrounds. Rear of
outbuilding shows old stone trough in recess with projecting capstone.

Attached outbuilding to west of house is altered and not of special interest.
