Farmhouse and barn, mid-C18. Roughly-coursed rubble with cut dressings;
graduated Lakeland slate roof. South elevation in two parts: House 2 storeys,
2 bays. Right-of-centre part-glazed 5-panel door in stone surround with
horizontal blocks at head and foot of each jamb. 4-pane sash windows with
cut lintels and sills. Coped left gable with moulded kneeler; end stacks.
Barn to right 2 storeys, 2 bays; central boarded doors flanked by part-slatted
windows with slit vents over. Coped right gable with moulded kneeler. Right
return shows boarded pitching door.

Rear elevation: house outshut shows 4-pane casement and 4-pane Yorkshire sash.
Barn has external stone stair to boarded door in irregular-block surround.
