WACKERFIELD WACKERFIELD NZ 12 SE 10/221 Wackerfield Hall
GV II
Farmhouse. Circa 1840. Colourwashed rough render with painted ashlar plinth and painted tooled ashlar dressings; Welsh slate roof with stone gable copings, brick chimneys and bellcote with ashlar dressings. L-plan. 2 storeys, 3 bays and slightly lower set-back left wing of 2 storeys, one bay. Central 4-panel door and overlight in doorcase of pilasters and entablature; 12-pane sashes, those on ground floor larger, with wedge stone lintels and projecting stone sills. Similar windows in left wing. Low-pitched roofs have elaborately- shaped gable kneelers; ashlar-banded chimneys at ends of main house and rear of wing; bellcote on left return gable of wing has keyed round-headed ashlar arch.
Right return has corniced canted ground-floor bay window and first-floor 12- pane sash at rear of gable. Rear shows 2-light horizontal sliding sash at left on ground floor; round-headed stair sash with patterned glazing bars; one first-floor 12-pane sash. Other windows renewed.
