GV II
Farmhouse. Mid C18 by J. Paine, probably from design by D. Garrett. Limewashed rubble with plinth and ashlar dressings; roofs of Welsh slate, with rear of left wing stone-flagged, right wing roofed in corrugated asbestos and rear left wing pantiled with stone eaves; brick chimneys. Gothic style. Symmetrical 2 storeys, 3 bays and one-storey, one-bay wings. Central boarded door and patterned fanlight in hollow-chamfered centred-arched surround under dripmould. Windows in similar style, that above door with label mould, have paired stone- mullioned lights of similar shape under top lozenge-shaped light. Stone- mullioned quatrefoil in wide gable peak with moulded coping and top chimney. Flanking outbuildings each have one opening with shaped stone surround. Formerly battlemented.
